Knowledge 2007: overview & rationale of the 10 pillar map of human knowledge

Map of Human Knowledge   Top Quality Resources   Smart Search   Encyclopedia

Each pillar is divided into relevant categories and presents the relevant fields.

Pillar 10, History, demonstrates the distinction between categories (e.g., Theory, Universal Memory, Relations)
 and fields
(e.g., Philosophy of History, History, Archeology, Genealogy).

Imagine that each pillar mirrors a bookcase. The categories are shelves, and the fields are books.
The structure of the History pillar is presented in two formats, namely, a pictorial 'library' format and a tree format (i.e., hierarchical structure).
