Rationale
Branches. The main branches of chemistry are organic (study of all substances that include carbon) and inorganic (study of all substances that include any chemical element except carbon) chemistry, physical chemistry and analytical chemistry, and biochemistry(see cat. 5.2). Note that some branches overlap. (C. Zins, 2011).
