מחקרי מיפוי ידע הוא שם כללי לפרוייקטים ולפרסומים של ד"ר חיים צינס.

פרוייקטים

• 10 עמודי הידע האנושי היא מפה שיטתית של הידע האנושי. היא מבוססת על יסודות תיאורטיים ועל מחקר מדעי שבו נבדקו 10,000 מונחים. המפה קיימת ב-11 שפות: אנגלית, יפנית, נפאלית, סינית, ספרדית, סרבית, עברית, פולנית, פורטוגזית, צרפתית, רומנית. הפרוייקט מפותח באנגלית. הגירסה העברית היא בסיסית. בפרוייקט 3 חלקים:

מפה (אנגלית).
עץ-נושאים היררכי שיטתי (אנגלית).
רציונאל וסקירה כללית (אנגלית).

• מחשבות (אנגלית/עברית) הן אמירות על החיים ועל העולם שבו אנו חיים.

• יהדות: מהות ותוכן עוסק בשאלות הגדולות של הזהות היהודית העכשווית העכשווית. הפרוייקט מבוסס על מחקר מדעי בהשתתפות 54 חוקרים ואנשי רוח, רבנים, ואנשי חינוך, שהתקיים באוניברסיטת חיפה בין השנים 2002-2003. המחקר פורסם באינטרנט ובמסמך מסכם. בפרוייקט 4 חלקים:

מהי יהדות? מיפוי חילקוי הדעות האידיאולוגיים; 8 הגדרות של יהדות.
מיהו יהודי? מיפוי חילוקי הדעות האידיאולוגיים1; 10 הגדרות של יהודי.
מפת ידע של היהדות. במפה 6 חלקים. היא מייצגת עשרות תחומי ידע.
רציונאל וסקירה כללית.

• אני מאשים: עדויות משפט אייכמן הוא מאגר מידע לימודי מובנה הכולל את 106 עדויות התביעה במשפט אייכמן. המאגר עלה לאינטרנט בשנת 1996 באתר סנונית.

• דלפי ביקורתי היא שיטת מחקר מובנית (structured), המבוססת על סדרה עוקבת של דיונים בין מומחים, המייצגים את כל ההיבטים הרלבנטיים של הבעיה הנחקרת. השיטה מיושמת במגוון רחב של נושאים ותחומים.

• שיטות מיון בספריות (אנגלית) הוא מחקר מדעי, ביחד עם פרופ' פלסידה סנטוס מברזיל, הממפה את הידע הכלול בשלוש שיטות המיון הגדולות המיושמות בעשרות אלפי ספריות אקדמיות וציבוריות בעולם. המחקר פורסם בכתב העת Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology

• מפת ידע של מדעי המידע (אנגלית) הוא מחקר מדעי, הממפה את מדעי המידע (information science). המחקר מומן ממענק-מחקר של הקרן הלאומית למדע (Israel Science Foundations). במחקר השתתפו 57 חוקרים מובילים מ-16 מדינות, והוא הניב 5 מאמרים מדעיים.

• חיים 

ד"ר חיים צינס

חיים צינס הוא חוקר, איש חינוך, ויוצר. הוא מומחה במיפוי וארגון ידע, חיפוש מידע ומידענות מחקרית, ומחקר איכותני. ד"ר צינס פיתח את מפת הידע האנושי (10 עמודי הידע האנושי), מפת ידע של היהדות, מפת ידע של מדעי המידע, ואת שיטת המחקר דלפי ביקורתי (Critical Delphi) בסדרה של מחקרים בין-תחומיים בארץ ובעולם. ד"ר צינס מפרסם מאמרים מדעיים בכתבי-עת מובילים בעולם, משמש כשופט-מעריך בכתבי עת מדעיים מובילים, מופיע בכנסים מדעיים ומקצועיים בינלאומיים, ומפתח פרוייקטים מידעניים וחינוכיים.
